1495 West 8th Avenue

1495 West 8th

The Vancouver Masonic Centre on W 8th is one of the city’s least attractive structures – a huge almost windowless concrete box. A newly submitted rezoning could see a dramatic transformation into 159 rental apartments (with a mix of non-market and market units) and a new Masonic Lodge, Banquet Hall and Children’s Learning Centre. There would also be a neighbourhood restaurant on 7th Ave, and the tower is designed to be 174 feet tall. The architects are SHAPE Architecture.
