Destination Auto Group already occupy the first residential project over a car dealership in the Stella building, also on Kingsway. This newly proposed rezoning would apparently see the Honda dealership expand into larger premises, with 109 rental residential units on top in a 6-storey building. (We’re guessing the Hyundai dealership currently located here might move into the more modest space in Stella).
The architects, FNDA, are a North Vancouver based practice who apparently haven’t designed any previous City of Vancouver schemes of this scale.
Update – three years later, there’s no sign of activity with this development.
