The 200 block of East Georgia Street already has an innovative nine storey building under construction on a 25 foot wide lot, now called The Flats.

Now there’s another proposed building that’s the same width on the same block. This project would see 40 rental units in another nine storey building, this one designed by Gair Williamson.

We’ll see if there are any issues with the project as it proceeds through the system – an earlier seven storey condo project by a different developer was approved for development before the site was sold on in 2012 for just over a million dollars. We’ve updated this post as we now have an image of the model that was seen by the Urban Design Panel earlier this week. They had no major issues with it, so now it can move towards getting a Development Permit.
